The licensee who produces liquors has to maintain an inspection book as specified by the Department in the distillery or brewery. The Excise Duty Officer or the employee deputed by him shall, while inspecting the distillery or brewery, mention in the book all matters including the date and time of inspection and the errors, if any, found in the process of making liquors.
